Milano Cortina 2026
The Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games will take place from 6th to 22nd February 2026, marking the 25th edition of the Winter Olympics. Set against the stunning backdrop of northern Italy, the Games promise unmissable drama from the worlds top winter athletes.
Team GB at the Winter Olympics
Team GB heads into Milano Cortina with one of its strongest medal prospects in recent history, combining world champions with an exciting new generation of talent. This could be GBs most successful Winter Olympics! The team features two-time skeleton world champion Matt Weston, freestyle skiing world champion Zoe Atkin, World Cup winner Kirsty Muir, and snowboard star Mia Brookes, the youngest world champion in history.
They’re joined by curling teams in exceptional form, with the men arriving as reigning world champions and the women fresh from securing European silver. Team GB’s class of 2026 is ready to shine on the Olympic stage.
How to Watch the Winter Olympics 2026
BBC Sport will have comprehensive coverage of the Winter Olympics, including two live daytime streams direct from Italy, plus highlights, clips and live text updates across the BBC Sport website, app and social channels.

BBC One: 9am–12pm with Hazel Irvine; 2pm–5.15pm with Jeanette Kwakye
